Matik is a rising star destined to shine for all of us to see. Born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois 22 year old Jeff Harrington is said to have a promising future in the hip-hop world.

Inspired by his father, a talented musician, Matik began writing lyrics at age 10. During his high school years, he and three friends formed a rap group Fatal 4 and have released three albums to date.

Matik has performed in countless talent showcases throughout the Midwest.
He opened up for acts like: “Do or Die”, “Johnny P”, “Twista”, “Jadakiss”, and "Choppa".

With the release of his solo debut “Heavyweight”, Matik hopes to establish himself as an artist that can carry his own as well as he could with Fatal 4.
The charismatic MC has been sharpening his skills for 12 years and possesses the talent that some people would pay to have. Matik can write a full length song in a matter of minutes and performs like he belongs on that stage. The Midwest rapper has the potential to do great things is music.
